Yes, that's me... Well, what did you expect !!!

Where to start..... let´s see..... well first there was light..... (I think that´s too early.....)

OK...... In 1995 Power FM was invented, using an experimental home-built 1 watt transmitter (don't laugh !) originally transmitting on 91.6 FM to the area of Los Gigantes, Power FM built up their name within the local British community. Then expanding slightly with a new 20 watt transmitter, the listening area was expanded to Playa de la Arena.

As from November 1999 Power FM also broadcasts to the north of Tenerife on 91.9 MHz. Then Power FM added transmitters to broadcast on 91.9 FM to the South East coast. From Los Cristianos to El Médano, then more transmitters to broadcast on the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura on 91.5 FM and finally on 91.7 and 91.9 to Gran Canaria

NOW, Power FM broadcasts ALL over the Canary Islands, with over 11 transmitter sites in the Canaries, regional broadcasting in Lanzarote , Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

Of course an important part of Power FM are the presenters, without presenters, there would be no Power FM... Hopefully you will visit the personal pages of all the presenters and find out more about them.....

The problem about saying thank-you's is you might forget to thank someone, so thank you to all the presenters, past and present.... Without you there would be no Power FM. Also I have to say thank you all the listeners, with out a doubt with out you there woudn´t be a Power FM. And finally a very, very big thank you to the advertisers and sponsors, because without the advertisers and sponsors there would definitely not be a Power FM !!!!

I suppose it's time to say a bit about myself now.... although I must admit there's not much to say !!!!

I originally moved over to Tenerife (I didn't have much choice at the time !) in 1982 when I was 9 years old. After finishing primary school in Tamaimo (Tenerife) I decided that I enjoyed electronics a great deal, and decided to study a little more. Omega Electronics and Omega Sound Systems were founded in 1992 and went from strength to strength and then a Radio Station seemed a good idea (don't ask me why !) and so we go back to the start of the page.....
