Coverage epands down the south
west coast of Tenerife

Coverage expands to cover the
south of Tenerife

Extended coverage onto the South
East Coast & the North coast
of Gran Canaria
·
Power FM launches in the North
Coast of Tenerife and La Palma
·
Regional advertising starts to
be set up
·
October: POWER FM LANZAROTE
GOES LIVE - Broadcasting
on 91.5fm, followed 6 months
later on 91.7fm.
· Station logo and slogan
changes to "Seven Islands,
One Station"
· Regional advertising
starts, with Power FM being
the first station to offer this
·
CRN - Power FM
takes control of the programming
operations for Waves FM. This
lasts for a year.

October: POWER FM GRAN
CANARIA GOES LIVE - Broadcasting
on 91.5fm and 91.9fm.

Power FM and BBC World Service
join for news deal

February: LOCAL PROGRAMMING
IN LANZAROTE - Power
FM Makes radio History again,
becomming the first regional broadcaster
