Terry Ray presents our flagship show “Power FM Today” and has many other duties here at HQ.

Since joining the company Terry has had a huge input in to all aspects of our output and the day to day operations here at Power FM and Pure Gold Radio Networks.

Terry now not only presents his weekday and Sunday shows but also has the following responsibilities.

Head of sales and Marketing – Head of Production – Head of Presenters and Programming Scheduling and he also selects all of the music for Power FM and Pure Gold.

In the UK a similar radio position would be called Program Controller or “P.C.”.

Terry says:

“I love to present my shows on radio and I also really enjoy writing radio commercials and driving a dedicated sales team, it is so great to be busy and involved in projects that you enjoy”.

When asked if there is anything that he hates?

Terry says:

“I hate having my photo taken or using a studio web cam, radio is “A theatre of the mind” and should remain so or we would be television. I get a really nice feeling when I get to meet clients and our listeners who say that it’s nice to put a face to the voice but it is also nice to keep just a little of yourself to yourself too”.

So what about public appearances we ask?

Terry Says.

“I love the fun of public appearances and outside radio broadcasts, I have presented live hundreds of times and I would be happy to consider any outside live activity”.

You can listen to Terry Ray on Power FM Today Monday to Friday from 11am till 2pm.

And on his Power FM "Sunday Telephone Chat Show" From 9am till 12 noon every Sunday morning.
